Meet Cassanova and the Romantic Sensations

James Cassan AKA (jimmy)

James Cassan, AKA Cassanova. Lead vocals, back up electric guitar, and the founder of the band Cassanova and the Romantic Sensations. James is an accomplished guitarist and songwriter. Born in Oklahoma, James and his sister Ghost made their way to California with the dream of creating a new sound.

Renata Rainwater AKA (Ghost)

Renata (Ghost) Rainwater, co-founder of the band. Ghost is the lead female powerhouse vocalist with a wide range, allowing her to add texture to any of their songs. She is also an accomplished acoustic guitarist and has taken guitar lead on a song or two. Just like James, she was also born in Oklahoma and brings her own unique style to the band’s sound.

Jackson Tripper AKA (Jack the Ripper)

Jack holds a black belt in Taekwondo and guitar shredding. Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Jack quickly fell in love with the California weather. Jack is also one of the original members of the core band. Jack takes lead guitar on all songs and contributes to all technical aspects of the music.

Cassidy Bell Star AKA (Thumper)

Thumper is the thunderous drummer and backup female vocals. She was born in Montana and travelled to California with her mother at a young age. As a child, she picked up the drumsticks watching her father, who played in bands. Thumper, now known as America’s sweetheart, is the leading industry female drummer. She was the youngest drummer in Montana who could manage double bass pedals, earning her the nickname Thumper.

Merlin Davies, AKA (Bass Man)

Merlin Davies, Bass and vocals. Merlin is credited with creating the unique voice effects you hear when you play their music. Most of the time, Merlin can be found side by side with Cassanova mixing music to perfection. Merlin can fix anything broken and, at times, has performed nick-of-time magic. Merlin is an Oakland native and has lived in California all his life.

Sabrina Ann Valentin, Cassan

Sabrina Ann Valentin Cassan. Although not an official member of the band, Sabrina was most directly responsible for the creation of the concept of the band Cassanova and the Romantic Sensations. An accomplished writer on her own, and author under the pen name Valentina and the Passionate Creations. Her involvement with the band is most directly related to her relationship with lead singer and founder James Cassan.
